Apps - nytt gigantmarked for norske bedrifter
IPhone og AppStore kom som en lenge etterlengtet handelsplass for millioner av utviklere over hele verden for bare 18 måneder siden. Siden det har AppStore blitt til en markedsplass med 70.000 apps og 2 milliarder nedlastninger. Hva skjedde? Det var plutselig innholdet som kom til den mobile markedsplassen.

Uansett salgskanal, så er det til syvende og sist teksten som utløser salget. Det gjelder ikke minst i web marketing. Direkte markedsføring - eller direct marketing - startet med tilbudsbrev. Det er over 100 år siden, men det er fremdeles teksten som dominerer også i de nyeste direkte kanalene, nemlig E-POST, WEB OG SMS. Hvorfor er det da så få som prioriterer denne delen av kommunikasjonen? Hva med webdesign, da, er ikke det viktig? Selvsagt, slik det alltid har vært. Webdesign og webtekst danner tilsammen en helhet. Slik har det alltid vært når du skal kommunisere og selge. Internett er ikjke noe unntak.

Dubai Lynx er en ny reklamefestival, arrangert av IAF, som også arrangerer Cannes Lions-festivalen og Eurobest. MENA-regionen (Middle East & North Africa) er et vekstområde, som i økende grad fokuserer på kommunikasjon og reklame. Øystein Svarød er invitert til å sitte i Direct & Interactive-juryen. Juryformann er Fred Koblinger, som også har ledet samme kategori i Cannes Lion Direct.
First Jury Announced For Dubai Lynx

The organisers of Dubai Lynx, the inaugural advertising and communication awards honouring creative excellence across the Middle East and North Africa, announced today the members of the TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor and Radio jury, the first of two juries to be released.

Headed by Jonathan Harries , Worldwide Chief Creative Officer, DRAFT FCB Group, USA , the TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor and Radio jury consists of ten international leading creatives from nine different countries who will meet in Dubai in March and over four days will vote and award the best ads in these categories.

The 1st Dubai Lynx - The Middle East and North Africa Advertising Awards for Creative Excellence - will be held 19 March 2007 in Dubai , UAE.

Presented by Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival in association with the United Arab Emirates Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) and supported by Dubai Media City ( DMC ), The Dubai Lynx, will honour creative excellence in TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Direct Marketing and Interactive advertising. High-profile international jurors will award the coveted Dubai Lynx trophy to establish the definitive standard for creative excellence in the Middle Eastern and North African regions. After the inaugural award in 2007, the Dubai Lynx will be run in association with a new event “The Dubai International Advertising Festival” which will commence in 2008. This event will bring to the region a series of high profile seminars and other initiatives aimed at giving creative inspiration, learning and networking opportunities to people working in the region.
